AS Physics
The AQA Physics AS course is split into three parts: Unit 1 and Unit 2 are examined, normally at the end of Year 12, and count for 80% of the course (40% each); Unit 3 is an ISA (an assessed practical), and is normally taken during this year.
A2 Physics
The AQA Physics A2 course, similarly, is split into three parts: Unit 4 and Unit 5 are examined, normally at the end of Year 13; while Unit 6 is another ISA (assessed practical). Unit 5 has an optional element to it.
